GAMES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FOR WED. (JULY 28TH) DUE TO STORMS. WATCH THE SITE FOR MAKE-UP INFO.

Coaches, Refs, Parents, and Guardians - Please remember to keep yourselves and your players HYDRATED before and during the games. Avoid sodas and caffeineted beverages - drink water or sports drinks. Watch for signs of heat-related issues and seek attention at the RYS trailer located near the south end of the 11-14 field.

PICTURES ARE THIS FRIDAY (JULY 30th). Talk to your coaches if you have any questions.

Roanoke soccer stickers and car magnets will be available for purchase on gamedays. Look for an RYS rep near the white building by the 11-14 field if you're interested.

Lastly, during games, if you hear the weather alert horn go off in a single long blast, please calmly go to your cars and wait out the storm for 10-15 minutes. If you hear a SINGLE blast again, please report back to the fields. If you hear three (3) short blasts, the games have been stopped and you're free to leave. Please monitor the website once you get home to see what the plan is for the games (to see if they've been cancelled or rescheduled).

Roanoke Youth Sports is a not-for-profit grass roots program with a goal of providing affordable opportunities for youth in the Roanoke area to participate in recreational sports. The Board of Directors of Roanoke Youth Sports strives to provide a safe environment for participants to learn sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and develop their athletic skills. The Roanoke Youth Sports family includes the participants, the parents and guardians, and the sponsors. Without any of them, the program could not happen.
